This is our all time favourite coffee, enjoyed long before Refill Mill even existed. Locally roasted in Writtle, Essex, just 15 minutes up the road from our headquarters, we love that we're supporting another small, local business.

This decaffeinated coffee has undergone a chemical free decaffeination process and is single origin from Viota Palmares, Cundinamarca, 80 kilometres west of Bogota, Colombia. This was one of the first coffee growing regions in Colombia where coffee grows at altitudes ranging from 1,400 - 1,600 metres above sea level. As soon as it's been picked, washed, sorted and processed it's taken to a decaffeination plant where a CO2 decaffeination method is used. Unlike other decaffeination methods, it uses no chemicals and is gentle on the beans resulting in a healthier and cleaner product with no nasty by-products.
This is a delicious cup of decaf, hard to tell the difference from regular, with notes of cocoa powder, toffee and Brazil nuts.
