These sponges are:

  • Made from natural wood fibre
  • Long lasting
  • Biodegradable
  • Compostable
  • Cruelty Free
  • Vegan
  • Plastic Free
  • BPA Free
  • Made in UK

Each sponge can absorb and retain up to 10 times its own weight in water and can withstand many a cleaning job, be it washing the dishes or wiping down kitchen and bathroom surfaces! For some amazing cleaning products to use them with, check these out, or if you want them for washing up then this is what you need!

These sponges are made from wood pulp that's been derived from the redundant wood harvested for other purposes at a managed plantation in Germany. They will break down in much the same way as a twig, so in around 3 months in a well-maintained compost heap. These sponges will last you for several months depending on how often or how vigorously they’re used and how well they are looked after.

Size of each sponge: 120 (L) x 80 (W) x 25 (H) mm

How to look after your sponges and prolong their life:

  • Keep as dry as possible between uses to prevent bacteria from growing.
  • Sterilise every now and again. To do this, simply soak in boiling water for a few minutes OR pop the damp sponge into the microwave OR put in the dishwasher with a dry cycle.
