
Our Chickpeas, also known as Garbanzo beans, are a wonderfully versatile legume, able to take centre-stage as the main dish or as a fabulous supporting act as a dip or side plate.
Chickpeas have a wonderfully grainy and nutty texture, making them an excellent meat-alternative for vegetarians or vegans, or anyone just wanting a meat-free meal. They are absolutely packed full of nutrients with large amounts of fibre, protein, folate and manganese amongst others, yet each 28g serving provides only 46 calories!

Storage: To maintain optimum freshness, store in an airtight container away from moisture and direct sunlight.
Cooking directions:
- Soak for 8-12 hours
- Boil for 10 minutes
- Simmer for 1.5-2 hours
- Check they are soft throughout prior to eating
